The season till now....

Three races over out of a total of 18 races and it looks like the writings already on the wall, Alonso and Renault are planning to wrap it up this season also, have to give it to them, they have worked really hard, but then its too early to predict anything. Raikkonen is as promising as ever with the mercs coming in strong race by race, he should be in contention if he manages to keep himself in the points by winning some races.

Honda's are a revelation this season, having come out with their own team unlike last season, they look promising with Button not only taking the pole in Australia but also coming 4th and 3rd in Bharain and Malaysia.

I missed Jacques Villeneuve very much last season and am sure that the F1 faternity must have too. One of the finest drivers to have driven on the F1 circuit, a through entertainer. With BMW coming also seperately with Sauber, we can expect some fireworks from Villeneuve.

Didnt I tell you... fireworks..Villeneuve's engine burst in Bharain

Toyota's season did not start well, but they seem to have got their act together atleast in Australia, need to see more to comment on their performance. Williams with their Cosworth engines have been quitely making a statement I feel, especially Nico Rosberg. I love the way he's driving.

And finally, I come to the Ferrari's. Somehow they seem to be still struggling with their tyres. Atleast this year, they car looks fast. Shumi did have a problem pre pitstop in Australia, but post pit stop, he was flying (typical him) till he lost it in the last turn and rammed the car into the wall. One of those rare errors from the great man, it cost him dearly, but he'll come back for sure in the forthcoming races. The engine change (a piston failure) cost them dearly in Malaysia, but they managed to get both the Ferraris into the points. Ferrari have to work harder this season. They ruled the F1 track few years back no doubt, but they dont anymore. Shumi still has a few more years left in him, its pretty much evident. The man still drives on the edge...very much on the edge.

2007 season will be fun to watch with Raikkonen tipped to join Ferrari. Till the next race... have fun...drive safely...Ferrari Rulz
