Rebellious Thoughts!!

  • There is always some madness in love. But there is always some reason in madness.
  • There are no facts, only interpretations.
  • Hope, in reality, is the worst of all evils, because it prolongs the torments of man.
  • Whenever I climb, I am followed by a dog-called “Ego”.
  • Is man one of God’s blunders or is God of one of man’s blunders.
  • Thinking men cannot be overruled.
  • Growth is caught and not taught.
  • The hardest thing to explain is the glaringly evident, which everybody had decided not to see.
  • I was thought wrong once, but I was mistaken.
  • To solve big problems you have to be willing to do unpopular things.
  • The discipline of writing something is the first step toward making it happen.
  • We are continuously faced by great opportunities brilliantly disguised as insoluble problems.
  • You can have brilliant ideas, but if you can’t get them across, your ideas won’t get you anywhere.
  • When you die, if you got five real friends, then you’ve had a great life.
  • Talk to people in their own language. If you do it well, they’ll say, “God, he said exactly what I was thinking.” And when they begin to respect you, they’ll follow you to death.
  • To be great is to be misunderstood.
  • Our chief want in life is somebody who shall make us do what we can.
  • Shallow men believe in luck. Strongmen believe in cause and effect.
  • The only way to have a friend is to be one.
  • The best effect of fine persons is felt after we have left their presence.
  • Always do what you are afraid to do.
  • We become what we think all day long.
  • You cannot do wrong without suffering wrong.
  • No great man ever complains of want of opportunity.
  • Imitation is suicide.
  • What lies before us and what lies behind us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
  • People see only what they are prepared to see.
  • A hero is no braver than ordinary man. But he is brave only five minutes longer.
  • He who cannot be a good follower cannot be a good leader.
  • The aim of the wise is not to secure pleasure, but to avoid pain.
  • If you never change your mind, why have one?
  • Creative thinking is not a talent; it’s a skill that can be learnt.
  • Argument is meant to reveal the truth, not to create it.
  • Unhappiness is best defined by the differences between our talents and our expectations.
